How to be a "Professional Hacker" ?

Mostly every tech lover want to be a hacker nowadays, but its not that easy my friend.
I am gonna explain some steps from where you can start to learn cyber security and start your career as a professional ethical hacker..
Knowledge is open source, you can learn everything online but must have curiosity and determination.

ALERT: If You want to learn hacking in 1 months or 2 months so please its not the right place for you, it can take years..

HACKING IS NOT A COURSE, IT'S A SKILL THAT YOU HAVE TO DEVELOP IN YOURSELF





So question is :

How to be a Professional hacker?

A hacker should be a critical thinker, and always curious to learn new things. He never stops learning!!!

What is mandatory?

Technical skills : Technical skills comes with in depth knowledge of every single topic..

Critical thinking(6W's) : Always think about what,why,how,who,where,when of every topic..

So your Journey starts from here...

First Step ;- Good knowledge of Operating Systems , Linux(must), Windows(must), Mac(optional).

You can learn operating systems online, there are many open source websites which offers free courses, or you can purchase books or pdf's if you can afford.
Its also an advantage if you learn linux administration..
And also learn about android and ios fundamentals.

Second Step ;-Learn networking
Networking is most important and useful for in depth ethical hacking.
if you are going to start learning networking, i suggest your read comptia network + or CCNA R&S books. And first clear your all concepts of networking..

Third Step(Most Important) ;-Learn programming, web development and technologies, DBMS.
You can't be a hacker if you don't know programming languages, without networking and programming knowledge you will be a Script kiddie.
If you want to be a elite hacker so start from basics of computer architecture, this will let you know how a program work inside the computer, which can give depth knowledge of software programming...

Programming languages - Assembly, C/C++(Recommendation),Python, Bash(Shell scripting), perl, ruby..
If you want to develop tools for ethical hacking learn Data structure with Python. 
Recommended books : Python the Hard way, Head first python, violent python.

Web Development and Technologies- HTML, Javascript(must), Php(must),Git, HTTP, Cpanel, web server fundamentals etc..

DBMS - SQL, Basics of NOSQL.

If you learn these things honestly then definetly you will get technical skills..

Dont think you are now a hacker... :)

The real journey starts from here, I hope you learn these things from open source...

Look if you can afford go for certification of CEH/Comptia Sec +. These are the beginner level certficates of cyber security..

But, If you cant afford certificates so now follow me :-

Earn skills, earn money from skiils, then advance your skills from earned money, if you want to be successfull.

Learn first yourself, be self taught professional and later when you can afford certficates, Go for them..
You can learn CEH(Certified Ethical Hacker) yourself its not tough, as i said it is beginner level, and you can get many documents for learning,  just learn to search right on google..
After learning CEH, Go for Owasp top 10 attacks and watch POC's on youtube..
Make notes in a notebook and clear your concepts.

After that, learn web pentesting by books/pdf or you can join institute if you can afford.. 

Now you can join learner's community and try to get an internship of cyber security or you can also get a job with these skills..

Recommended certificate - OSCP, its an offensive security certified professional certificate which will increase your skills weightage .

And Yes its not enough you have to do more, but start to not to stop..

May be i forgot many things but whenever you start to learn you can get them yourself.

Always update yourself with new technology, Connect with peoples with same level of interest, Be a critical thinker..
Curiosity is the key to success..
